Based and trained in Melbourne, mezzo soprano

Mia Koutsoumidis brings passion and sparkle to the realm of Classical music.

Having completed a Bachelor of Music Performance at the University of Melbourne, Mia is now undertaking her 

Masters of Opera Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, training with Carrie Barr.

​

Despite a central focus on opera, Mia has over a decade of experience in Musical Theatre, contemporary and jazz vocals, acting for theatre and screen, and extensive dance training.

With a passion for a variety of performance avenues, Mia aspires to share her love for the arts with like minded artists, but also with those who are yet to discover the emotion music can evoke within them.​
